Spencer joined Bosch Financial Inc. in 2021 and has been a Financial Consultant with Equitable Advisors since March 2018. Spencer grew up in Oskaloosa, Iowa where he graduated from Oskaloosa High School in 1996, then attended Marshalltown Community College and played baseball for the Tigers. Spencer went on to attend the College of Oceaneering in San Pedro, CA, and worked as a commercial diver before returning to school and earning a degree in Geography from University of Iowa.
Spencer chose Bosch Financial and Equitable because there is a culture of learning, teaching, and leading. Spencer's goal was to work with industry leaders, this includes colleagues and clients. He feels privileged to serve the best learners and leaders. Spencer’s specialties lie in providing Comprehensive Financial Analyses with a concentration on Pension Planning and Tax Efficient Savings strategies for educators and entrepreneurs. Spencer is passionate about providing solutions for his client's unique situation and creating customized strategies that align with his client's unique values, beliefs, and goals.
Spencer lives in Cedar Rapids with his wife, Virginia, and their two daughters, Veda, and Jovi. They enjoy hiking in the woods, reading books, and riding bikes together.
